On a whim on the 4th of July I grabbed my HDV camera and started walking toward the middle school where the city’s annual pyrotechnical extravaganza takes place. I never got there. Three blocks from my house, on a swale by a municipal parking lot I saw clumps of people making themselves comfortable on the grass.
I sat, then lay down, propped the video camera on my stomach and hit record. Here’s almost six minutes of the 45 I recorded, cherry-picked excerpts intended provide the biggest bang for your visit to ND2.0.
Where I live, I would imagine there are any number of good viewing locations within a mile or so of the main site.
